ROBERT THIRSK HIGH SCHOOL
Grade 10 Registration Process
(Applicable to current Grade 9 Students designated to RTHS for 2025-2026 school year)
RTHS Open House for incoming grade 10 students will take place on Monday, January 27th, 2025, from 6-7:30 PM.
Virtual Transition to High School meeting for parents/guardians will take place on Tuesday, February 11th at 6 PM. Online meeting link will be distributed through junior high feeder schools.
High School Transition Presentations for students will be arranged at their junior high schools with RTHS guidance counsellors between mid to end of February 2025.
Course Registration: Student will receive course registration forms to be completed and reviewed by parent/guardian and will enter their selection into PowerSchool with guidance from their junior high school.
Grade 11/12 Registration Process
(Applicable to current Grade 10 & 11 students attending RTHS)
Families will receive further information on the 2025-2026 course registration process at the end of February 2025. Current grade 10 and 11 students will receive a course registration presentation (available to families afterwards) from guidance counsellors at the end of February 2025 as well to support them with their course registration decisions.

Transferring Between CBE Schools
At the CBE, when you are transitioning from middle school to high school, you will be automatically registered at your designated school according to your home address. To find out what your designated school is, use our Find a School tool. If you are interested in attending a school other than your designated high school, please reference CBE's Transfer Request page. Transfer requests for the 2025-2026 school year are accepted between February 1st-March 15th, 2025.
