ROBERT THIRSK HIGH SCHOOL
Grade 10 Registration Process
(Applicable to current Grade 9 Students designated to RTHS for 2025-2026 school year)
RTHS Open House for incoming grade 10 students and their families will take place on Monday, January 26th, 2026, from 5:30-7:30 PM.
Virtual Transition to High School meeting for parents/guardians will take place on Tuesday, February 10th at 6 PM. Online meeting link will be distributed through junior high feeder schools.
High School Transition Presentations for students will be arranged at their junior high schools with RTHS guidance counsellors between mid to end of February 2026 during school time.
Course Registration: Student will receive course registration forms to be completed and reviewed by parent/guardian. Students will enter their selection into PowerSchool with support from student services at their junior high school.
Grade 11/12 Registration Process
(Applicable to current Grade 10 & 11 students attending RTHS)
Families will receive further information on the 2026-2027 course registration process at the end of February 2026. Current grade 10 and 11 students will receive a course registration presentation (available to families afterwards) from guidance counsellors on Thursday, February 26th during Connect. Guidance counsellors will meet with students individually in March to review their course registration and answer any specific questions during that time.

- MyBluePrint- Students access their account with their CBE username and password. Provides information on post-secondary programs across Canada and their accompanying admission course requirements.
Transferring Between CBE Schools
At the CBE, when you are transitioning from middle school to high school, you will be automatically registered at your designated school according to your home address. To find out what your designated school is, use our Find a School tool. If you are interested in attending a school other than your designated high school, please reference CBE's Transfer Request page. Transfer requests for the 2025-2026 school year are accepted between February 9th -March 15th, 2026.
